Nicholas Hare Architects are thrilled by the news that the Production Park for the performing arts on the site at Purfleet was named Project of the Year and won the Regeneration award at the 2011 RICS East of England awards last week. The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Award is one of the most prestigious prizes in the UK property industry.

The new campus acts as a focus for the backstage aspect of the performing arts. It includes a new production workshop for the Royal Opera House, a National Skills Academy, a wardrobe and archive store, and space for small businesses and artists' studios.
