In over 20 years at NHA, David has led teams on many of the practice's most significant projects. He brings exceptional experience in the educational, arts, sport and workplace sectors and in complex refurbishments.

Recent university projects include two buildings for the University of Cambridge: The Alison Richard Building, a faculty building for the Humanities, Social Science and Arts, and the award-winning David Attenborough Building, the sustainable re-invention of an iconic brutalist building into a 'conservation campus'. He has recently worked with the University of Worcester on a masterplan for the Severn Campus, including the International Centre for Inclusive Sport.

He led the teams on the Joseph Chamberlain College in Birmingham, which won the Prime Minister’s Better Public Building Award and on the RIBA award-winning Royal Opera House Production Workshop. His most recently completed project is a new research and technology building for Schlumberger.

David is also responsible for running our in-house CPD programme and is a member of our in-house Technical Group.
