Our new office building for Christies Care was announced winner of the ‘Large new building’ at the 2017 RIBA Suffolk Craftsmanship Awards.

The building was constructed using large timber panels to form both the wall, floor and structural roof components of the building. These panels were clad externally with 'Accoya', an engineered timber product which, over time, will age to resemble a Suffolk barn.

Suffolk-based contractors SEH French accepted the award at the ceremony on 11 May which was attended by over 400 guests and clients.

The scheme was recently announced a finalist at the 2017 LABC East Anglia Building Excellence Awards: Best Public Service Building.
