Bloomsbury Theatre is awarded SKA Gold rating

The Bloomsbury Theatre has achieved SKA Gold rating - the highest ranking of an environmental assessment method, benchmark and standard for non-domestic fit-outs, led and owned by RICS.

This has been achieved through the introduction of new lighting, as well as improved heating and ventilation systems which have enhanced comfort.

Low-impact products and materials have been used, accessibility has been improved for both visitors and performers and waste management has been improved. Finally, the teak slats which were removed from the auditorium have been reused for a variety of purposes ranging from furniture to sculpture and even a staircase.
