Cambridge starts on site

The new building for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences for the University of Cambridge designed on the Sidgwick campus at 7 West Road is starting on site in April and is due for completion in September 2011. The proposed building will bring together seven different end users, six of which are part of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and will also accommodate shared seminar space, archive storage, and a cafe facility. The building is spread over four above ground storeys together with a basement, and incorporates a central full height top lit atrium.
