The Bishop of Rochester led a ground breaking ceremony on 27 September on Medway's flagship Academy that will share his title.

Nicholas Hare Architects are working with BAM to design and build this and Medway's other two new academy schools - Strood and Brompton Academy - following Medway Council's rigorous selection process.

BORA will be built around a central sunken courtyard with a range of outdoor spaces, including performance and teaching areas. The Academy will be complete by Summer 2013.
