We are delighted to share that The Richard Cairns Building and UCL East, Marshgate have both been honoured with RIBA National Awards.

The Royal Institute of British Architects Awards programme champions and celebrates architectural excellence across the UK, providing awards for buildings since 1966.

A National Award recognises projects that are exemplary in both design approach and solution, leading the way within the built environment.

The prestigious recognition for The Richard Cairns Building is a testament to the vision, creativity and collaboration throughout the project, which has enriched teaching and learning for pupils at Brighton College, creating "an oasis of serenity in a complex world", described by the judging panel.

UCL East, Marshgate, is a significant part of the University College London's new researching, making, and learning campus located at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where we initially delivered a strategic and visionary masterplan and acted as a Design Guardian for the new academic building fit out, through RIBA Stages 3-6.

“As an educational model, it is widely visited by academics from all over the world. In all these senses, this hugely significant university building deserves to be a real source of pride", Matthew Lloyd, London Jury Chair.
