World Green Building Week at NHA

23 September 2015
News

Nicholas Hare Architects are once again participating in the UKGBC's World Green Building Week by hosting an evening of lively discussions, with drinks and nibbles in our Islington studio on 23 September.

As the government steps back from driving forward the green agenda, it is left to construction-related businesses to collaborate and make the case for a sustainable future. Despite recent high-profile campaigns, the performance gap remains a significant thorn in the side of our profession.

The debate, "Will Collaboration Help to Close The Gap", will explore the following:

What more must designers do to persuade clients of the value and long term positive benefits of post-occupancy evaluation?

Can the reputational risks be overcome to allow greater transparency and improved knowledge-sharing across the industry?

Architects need to work harder at this and could stronger collaboration with experts in the field be the answer?

Confirmed speakers are
Gary Clark - Wilkinson Eyre Architects
Dr Stephen Ball - Couch Perry Wilkes
Will Ray - Green Tomato Energy
Robert Cohen - Verco Advisory Services
