A thorough understanding of procurement, construction and project delivery informs our design process, helping to ensure that our projects are practical, buildable and capable of being delivered efficiently, safely and in accordance with our clients' aspirations.
RIBA Chartered Practice and Certifications
Nicholas Hare Architects is an RIBA Chartered Practice.
Our integrated management systems are independently certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management), helping to ensure consistent standards, effective management and continual improvement across our projects and practice operations.
BIM and Information Management
Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital information management support the coordination and delivery of our projects. By bringing together information from across the design team, we can improve collaboration, communicate designs more effectively and identify potential issues earlier in the process. We tailor our approach to the requirements of each project, providing information that is appropriate for both construction and long-term operational needs.
Quality Assurance
Quality is embedded throughout our design and delivery processes. Dedicated project teams, continuity of personnel and close partner involvement help ensure that an understanding of the client's objectives is maintained throughout the life of a project. Regular design, technical and process reviews support coordination, quality control and continual improvement, while lessons learned are shared across the practice to inform future work.
Health and Safety
Health and safety is an integral part of our approach to design and delivery. We work collaboratively with project teams to identify and manage risks from the earliest stages of a project, helping to create buildings that are safe to construct, use and maintain.
Principal Designer roles form a regular part of our service. We act as Principal Designer under both the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and the Building Regulations, supporting clients in managing risk and meeting their statutory responsibilities throughout the design and construction process.
