Our studio is a friendly and welcoming place to work: small enough for everyone to know each other, yet large enough to tackle complex and ambitious projects. Enjoyment in what we do, and an environment in which talent can thrive, are fundamental to our way of working. We are a collaborative and supportive practice, built around shared responsibility, openness and respect, with ideas, knowledge and experience shared openly across the studio.

We believe the best outcomes are achieved through teamwork, shared ownership and a focus on creating lasting value for clients, users and communities.
Learning and development
Learning has always been fundamental to the practice. Through mentoring, design reviews, technical reviews, CPD and shared project experience, we support people to develop their skills, pursue specialist interests and take on new responsibilities. Regular studio discussions, presentations and knowledge-sharing sessions help ensure that learning is embedded in everyday practice, while the collaborative nature of the studio encourages the informal exchange of ideas and experience across the practice.
Work experience
We are keen to invest in young people interested in architecture and design. Our work placement opportunities give students an insight into architectural practice, helping them develop new skills, build confidence and explore future career paths.
Working with the architects from Nicholas Hare has inspired me to pursue a career in that field. I was very fortunate to have them arrange an amazing work experience placement at their studio.Yaasmeen Muhammad Dormers Wells High School
