Medical Research Campus

The practice has been involved on several projects for the University at its world-leading Medical Research Campus in Headington opposite the Churchill Hospital.
Having completed the Richard Doll Building for the University’s Trials and Epidemiological units on the research campus’ existing site – the Old Road Campus, we were asked to devise a masterplan for the campus that would plot a development programme for the next decade or more.
Subsequently, the University acquired the adjacent Park Hospital with its highly attractive grounds and we developed an expanded masterplan encompassing both sites.
In addition to these masterplans, we have submitted competition designs for research buildings and an amenity and car-parking building for the campus.
