The masterplan for the UCL East Campus in the Queen Elizabeth Park is in the running for a Planning Award for outstanding masterplanning work.
Nicholas Hare Architects was part of the LDA Design team to masterplan the new 125,000m2UCL Campus, developed in partnership with the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).
The landscape-led masterplan was borne out of the key principles of connectivity and legibility. The plan delivers a radical new model for a university campus: a rich, outward-facing pattern of places well integrated into the community and surroundings.
