David has led several award-winning projects since joining the practice in 2005, across a number of different sectors from Education to Life Sciences, Workplace and the Arts, New build and Retrofit. These include the multi-award winning Student Centre project in the heart of Bloomsbury, and more recently, our School of Management on the top floor of One Canada Square in Canary Wharf, and a new Travel Hub on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus for AstraZeneca. David studied at the University of Cambridge from where he also has a masters degree in Environmental Design. He has a passion for environmental design and chairs our in-house Environment Group, responsible for NHA’s Environmental Strategy.

Previously he led the teams on two projects for St Paul's School in Barnes: the multi award-winning Science Building and the Samuel Pepys Theatre and Drama Centre. Other projects include Serlby Park Academy - a 1360 place through-school in Nottinghamshire, the David Attenborough Building at the University of Cambridge, HQ building for O2 in Slough, and 36-38 Gordon Square - a retrofit of three listed Georgian townhouses into flexible office and teaching space.
