Bath Road, 190-208
Slough
This competition-winning masterplan for SEGRO involved the development of three new office buildings in a prominent location on the Bath Road in Slough. All the buildings were subsequently realised in a phased programme of works.
Replacing four pre-war commercial buildings the new buildings provide 13,800 sq.m. of lettable floor space. Each of the buildings is arranged around a three or four-storey atrium and is designed to allow full flexibility for single or multiple tenancies.
A consistent palette of pre-cast concrete and anodised aluminium gives the development cohesion, while imposing three-storey entrance canopies and a generous landscape regime create an impressive frontage.
The buildings were subsequently let to Blackberry, global pharmaceutical giant Ipsen and bio-tech company UCB Celltech for whom we also provided the fit-out design.
