As part of the RIBA Great British Buildings series, Carol Lelliott and David Lowe hosted a talk and tour of Cambridge University’s recently completed, award winning, David Attenborough Building on 19 September 2018.
Over 40 architects from the RIBA East region attended to hear about the challenges of restoring and updating a classic modernist building.
Carol and David would
like to express their thanks to the Cambridge Conservation
Initiative and the Museum of Zoology for
their contribution to the event.
The David Attenborough Building was awarded a RIBA National Award following the receipt of a RIBA East and a RIBA East Conservation award earlier this year.
