Longwater Avenue, 200 & 250

GreenPark, Reading

GreenPark is a state-of-the-art business park on which we have developed three buildings. Phase 1 comprises 200 and 250 Longwater Avenue, 109,351 sq. ft. GEA on 6.05 acres, used for a mixture of offices and computer laboratories.

Each building has a U-shaped plan, with a centrally top-lit atrium space which extends through the length of the building, offering views out to the park landscape. The two wings are of different lengths, with a standard width of 15m.

The entrances to the buildings are from the formal square, each entrance has a generous canopy, framed by two stair cores.

Materials which respond to the landscape have been selected to reflect the colours of the surrounding trees and sky, used in a direct manner, clearly articulating the facades into separate panels. Continuous windows provide uninterrupted views over the landscape.

The parking deck has been kept to the back of the site, away from the water’s edge.

Nicholas Hare Architects-designed buildings give your business inspiring surroundings and happier people, not to mention lower electricity bills.
