James Eades

James enjoys helping clients shape ambitious projects through thoughtful briefing, strategic leadership and collaborative design. He brings a steady focus, a strong sense of organisation and a genuinely collegiate approach to teamwork, helping clients and project teams navigate complex challenges. His experience encompasses new-build, retrofit and masterplanning projects across the practice's portfolio, balancing architectural ambition with the practical demands of programme, budget and delivery.

James joined the practice in 1997 and became a Partner in 2012. Alongside his project work, James helps shape the strategic direction of the practice, with a particular interest in design quality, stakeholder engagement and long-term practice development.
